jcano is right, it is not necessary to reinstall NI-FBUS Configurator software.
The string "UNK" stands for "Unknow", which means the right DD files are not imported properly, so please
check the Resource Block of your device, open "Diagnostics" tab and check the parameters of
"MANUFAC_ID", "DEV_TYPE", "DEV_REV" and "DD_REV", which specify the DD files. Specially the
"DEV_REV" and "DD_REV" specify the DD file name, for example, if DEV_REV is 2 and DD_REV is 1, then
the DD file names should be "0201.ffo" and "0201.sym". Then you can find the correct DD files according to its
manufactor, device type(model) and the DD file name.
The string "SNF" indicates the standard dictionary files might be out-of-date, thus the new block types can not
be recognized. In that case, probably you need to upgrade your Configurator software to newer version. Or your
can copy the new version of "nifb.dct", "nifb.ffo" and "nifb.sym" to replace the old files in "..\NI-FBUS\Data"
directory, it might help as well.
If all of the blocks show "UNK", probably the standard dictionary files are missing, you need to copy those files
back the folder of "..\NI-FBUS\Data" for recovery.
