Configurator 3.1.1 harware interrupts

After installing Configurator 3.1.1, my hardware interrupts take 80+% of my CPU usage and I have to shut down my computer. I ended uninstalling not only the 3.1.1 upgrade but also 3.1, clean out my registry and then finally re-installing 3.1. What woud be causing this problem and how can I avoid this in the future?

My system config is
PCMICA NI-FBUS PS/2 card
Dell Precision 530 workstation

Would you please try the Polled Mode of the PCMCIA-FBUS card? Then, the PCMCIA board will use this mode instead of the IRQ mode. Please open Interface Configuration Utility, select the PCMCIA board and click "Edit"; check the "Polled Mode" check-box.

Thank you for the reply but the polled mode was selected...unless 3.1.1 changed this. Other people that I work with didn't any problems with the upgrade.

Would you please let me know the PCMCIA-FBUS interface card is Series 1 or Series 2? It's simple to tell the 2 series by their labels:

Series 1: PCMCIA-FBUS
Series 2: NI PCMCIA-FBUS Series 2
