You can not set the FBUS-HSE/H1 with a fixed IP-Address, the linking device can only obtain the IP address via DHCP server. I suggest you try to use some DHCP software in the host side to have the IP address assigned to the linking device. We have ever used the Vicomsoft (
www.vicomsoft.com) DHCP Server software to configure with FBUS-HSE/H1 linking device successfully.
On the other hand, since you have two LAN-cards (NICs) installed, you might need to pay attention that the current version of NI-FBUS CM or Configurator (for HSE version) can only connect to the first LAN-card; so I suggest you assign the factory-wide network to the 2nd card to avoid communication failures. Good news is that the next version (v3.2) of NI-FBUS software (CM and Configurator) will support multiple network interfaces (NICs).
