CM cannot help you configure/monitor the devices (via H1 interface or HSE/H1 LD) no matter it is licensed or not. We would like to suggest you use NI-FBUS Configurator to do so. If you don't have the Configurator currently in your hand, please use NI-FBUS Dialog Utility instead - this free utility is automatically installed with the NI-FBUS software and can help you do some basic configurations even though it cannot provide the complete configuration tools as NI-FBUS Configurator does.
As to the CFF files, would you please give us some details/explanation of your requirements? Thanks!
