I have dual LAN connection on my notebook as enclosed in the first picture.
The NI-FBUS Interface Configuration Utility recognises the connection to the HSE linking device without any errors, see second picture.
Ping to the address is OK, but the NI-FBUS Communications Manager 4.0.1 can not listen to the board 0, see third picture.
Using another notebook separated with only one LAN interface the connection is functioning.
Any ideas on the problem solution?

Hi,
Could you please close the Windows Firewall and try again?
Thanks.

Hi Chris,
I am not able to stop the Symantec Protection, see the pictures enclosed, perhaps I do not have the right for this application.
Even if I defined the fixed IP addresses as Exceptions not to be scanned, it does not work.
I will discus it at the company next week when I am working there.
Thanks for the hint.

To check one thing with you, is another LAN under the same subnet of 192.168.177.*?
Thanks.

No PC itself has 192.168.177.180 and there is a point to point connection between PC and the HSE device

It is weird. Anyway, we still suggest you try turn off the Windows Firewall and try again.
