How many VCRs does NI Configurator configure when connecting a transmitter to the segment?

Hi,

The number of VCRs Configurator creates depends on the specific device.

For example, a temperature transmitter which probes one temperature  value (AI) produces only one VCR. If alarm is enabled on AI, another one VCR will be created.

Just on an interest note - how many VCRs can the NI Configurator with the series 2 card provide.

Hi Allen,

The maximum number of VCRs PCMCIA-FBUS Series 2 card supports is 100.
