Nifbus Dialog Utiliy

When Starting Nifbus dialog I get an error "The procedure entry point nifdowload lasSched could not be located in the Dynamic link library nifb.dll. How can I fix that?

It seems that the function can't be found in the dll. Please reinstall the software.

If the error occurs again, please give the exact error message, since I can't find the one you said in source code...

After loading the software from the Website and After reloading the software from the National Instruments NI-FBUS Software for Windows 2000/XP Communications Manager Configurator Version 3.2 501007D-01 CD which I received with the PCMCIA card. I still get the following when trying to start the Dialog Utility:

nifbdlg.exe-Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point nifDownloadLasSched could not be located in the dynamic link library nifb.dll

My ulitmate goal is to use this software and card to provide a Foundation Fieldbus communication method for ValveLink Solo, (an Emerson Process Management/Fisher AMS software) Which also gives me an error of "nifb.dll, v3.0 Get ProcAddress() failed"

Please check the version of \WINDOWS\system32\nifb.dll.  It should be 3.2.x.  Maybe the one on your computer isn't.

Then I suggest you to uninstall all NI FBUS software , as well as that Emerson software. After that, to install only NI FBUS again. Launch Dialog Utility without Emerson software installed, and see if it works well. Then install Emerson software and see what happens.

Problem solved. I had to unistall NI-Fbus and then manually go find the nifb.dll and remove them. Then reinstall the software to get the new dlls.
