Offline Interface

I have updated the NI FBUS Configurator from version 3.1 to version 4.1.1 and now there is no offline interface available anymore.

Is there a way to activate it in "Interface Configuration Utility"? I am using the PCI FBUS/2 Card.

Hi, 

Offline interface should always be available.
I'm not sure if you have upgraded the software without error.

I suggest you uninstall the software completely and reinstall version 4.1.1.
If everything goes correctly, you should be able to add an offline interface in the "ICU", then you'd be able to use it in Configurator.

Thank you for your response.

Even after reinstalling I was not able to add an offline interface in "ICU".

But I found that there is a new tool name "Add Interface Wizard" with wich I was able to add the offline interface.

Hi,

"Add Interface wizard" is a legacy tool, which is also included in version 4.1.1

"ICU" is the new tool to do the trick.

If you have upgraded from 3.1 to 4.1.1, you should see "Interface Configuration Utility"(ICU) in the Utilities folder. (see attached screenshot)
