PC time output from NI-FBUS Monitor

Whenevr I set NI-FBUS Monitor to record data from a device I can select various methods for displaying time, including PC Time as an option, but whenever I select this option and save a file I find that when I re-open the same file later all PC Times for every file starts on 12/32/69 at 18.00 regardless of when the file was saved. Is there a way to get the software to save real time as well as display it while recording data? Note that absolute time saves perfectly, and PC Time displays correctly while recording the data, it is only on playback everything is lost, so that I have to write down the exact time of the first record if I want to know the exact time according to my PC.

Hello friend.

You were right on an absolute time. You are recording an absolute time start at 0. First of all I don’t know what type of target you are running on. You might run on RT, PXI, or PC. If you are running of RT, it might explain it why you start at 0 every time. You might try to save the start time using time function, because you mentioned you can display time correctly.

Hope this is help.

Good luck.

I am sorry that current version of NI-FBUS does not save Time Measured mode.
Thank you for informing us this problem. We will try adding this feature in future version.
