Registry access fail after uninstalling and re-installing the NI-FBUS v3.1 software

Hi,

I am getting error shown below after I have uninstalled and re-installed NI-Configuration utility. Please advise how to fix it up. Note that I am logged in as an Administrator.

Hardware:

Windows XP SP2 on a Dell Latitude D630

PCMCIA-FBUS Series 2

Driver Version: 3.1.0.4003

Driver Date: 11/17/2003

 

Error shown when attempting to launch interface Configuration Utility:

"Failed to Access registry. Please check if you have administrator privilege."

Error shown when attempting to launch NI-FBUS Communication Manager:

"Fatal Error: The registry is missing critical information describing board 1. Run your NI-FBUS Configuration Utility and check your board"

Hello,

Please try using the attached tool to uninstall NI-FBUS software. In the list, uninstall all the NI-FBUS components.

This tool will make sure that the existing NI-FBUS software is completely removed.
