It has, although not just by me. I think the key feature of a FAQ is that it needs to be integrated into the search. The result has to appear as a prominent result when people do the search they're forced to do.
A less desirable option is if we have threads (or better, wiki articles) with standard text which we point to, but I usually would not feel like looking them up. If there was a Firefox plugin which allows to search just through that list and easily paste the link into the editor, I would probably use it. Otherwise, I would usually just do nothing or write the text.
