When composing a reply, the post I am replying to is shown below the edit window. It might contain pictures.
I can click and look at one of those pictures and the popup appears just fine, but I cannot maximize it, because of some bug discussed here elsewhere. If I click the "download" button instead, I would expect it to just download the image, leaving me in the editor.
However, as soon as I click the download button, it asks me to leave the editor ("Leave Site?" (sic)). This should not happen!
Curiously, once I cancel that dialog, I can press the download button again and it works, keeping me in the editor. Why does it fail the first time???

Hi altenbach,
We could not reproduce the issue. Are you still seeing the issue?

Yes, the problem still exists for me (Windows 10, Chrome).

I was able to reproduce this issue when there is text within the editor already.
In the future, we are planning to move to inline replies, so you won't have to go to a new page to start your reply and you will be able to see the rest of the replies too. This issue should not occur then.
Thanks,
Lili
