Clicking Back once is not enough on Firefox

Laura, if I go into a board and then into a thread and then click back twice (to get back to the main page) it doesn't work. Instead, it takes me back to the board and I have to wait until the board page at least begins loading before I can click back again to get to the main page.

In fact, the same thing seems to happen even if I click back several times in a row.

Overall, not a terrible complication, but it is somewhat annoying.

This only seems to happen on Firefox (2).

Another aspect of this - it seems that when I click back, the page is reloaded from scratch every time, so that it never remembers the position I was at. My workaround for now would be to open threads in new tabs, but that's not always convenient. Again, this is only on FF.

Hi tst,

I think clicking back twice must have something to do with the slower page load times you experience - I have to click very fast in order for this to happen.  I believe this has to do with page load times, although IE7 doesn't seem to have this problem.  I'll report the problem.

As for Firefox not remembering the position - that did come to my attention last week, so I have reported it.

Thanks,
Laura
