Discrepancy on time display.

Hello:

I am from the Philippines. I set my timezone offset to GMT+8 at personal preferences. It seems that the time displayed under "Latest Post" is advanced by 1 hour as compared to the local time here. Please advice. Is it I the only one who is experiencing a discrepancy on the time?

Hello:

I think somebody tried to fix this problem. Unfortunately, it's on the wrong direction. Now it is advanced by 2 hours.

I have experimented with the time zone settings and haven't been able to reproduce what you are seeing. I am suspicious of the Daylight Savings option being the cause of why it went from being one hour off to being two hours off for you.

I am posting this messages at 11:15AM CST (GMT -6). If my calculations are correct, it should show up as 11:15AM + 6 + 8 = 1:15PM for you if you are GMT +8. Is that right?

Thanks!

Hello Molly:

There is an option on my profile that sets the automatic adjust of daylight savings time. I leave it unchecked.
Your message shows at 04-16-05 02:14 AM.
I am posting this on 04-20-05 8:55 AM.

When I check the daylight savings option, the timestamp on the message I posted appears correctly. However, it doesn't match the timestamp that you mentioned you post should be displayed as. Do you see the same behavior?

Thanks!
