No...

the sig is actually quite accurate..

It's Win-2K for Windows 2000
and Win - X : P for the crappy XP garbage that Uncle Billy-G provided..

so it's 😛 for X-Pee..

Beelzebub,
From hebrew, "Lord of the flies". Baal, god + zebub, a fly.
1. Bible - the chief devil, Satan (Also Beelzebul).
2. Any Devil.
3. Jane Abview.
Adapted from Webster's new world dictionary, second edition.
And I can't help but add a Freddy Mercury line: "Beelzebub has a devil put aside for me, for me, for meeeeeeeee". Enter electric guitar solo...

Having read the bible in hebrew, I would like to point out that Beelzebub is mentioned as one of the gods of the Philistines and that Lucifer and Beelzebul are not from the bible at all, but are in fact later names. As a matter of fact, the name Lucifer doesn't exist at all in hebrew, but is purely christian.
In fact, the entire modern concept of Satan\Lucifer\Beelzebub is christian. While jewish tradition (especially the mystic part of it) has demons, all such references in the bible are to beings working under god. In fact, I believe the only place in the bible the name Satan is mentioned is in the book of Job, where he is clearly doing what god tells him to. By the way, did you know that Job lived in Oz?

BTW,
I would like to point out that the X-files had an episode called "Lord of the flies", which had someone involved with flies and that Asimov wrote a short story called Flies, in which one the main characters was Beelzebub, although he wasn't aware of it.
Hmm... He also hated flies (they loved him).
This also reminds me of Douglas Adams's Rain god, Rob McKenna, who was loved by the clouds, which always wanted to take care of him, but had a number for each type of rain he hated...

From hebrew, "Lord of the flies". Baal, god + zebub, a fly.

Or a modern translation should be "Lord of the bugs"

That's an interesting post..

I believe that each religion is like a piece of puzzle.
To see the real picture, you need to connect them together.

Shame "men" decided to use religion as a means of control. Now they have competition.. >gov't<

Not an appropriate place for this kind of talk... so we'll stick with the Lords of the Bugs..

Hi tst,

I have NOT read the whole OT in hebrew, but you did not mention the one word that is used multiple times and describes what I view as the source of all evil.

I believe it is spelled "aleph, daleth, aleph, mem" (This shows how weak my hebrew is). And no I am not talking about when it is transliterated, but translated.

The one I am personally most familiar with, is evil.
