Do we prefer to keep the three bars (maybe reducing it to two bars) in the ranks?

I prefer three bars. I personally feel certain things should not be changed

Do we really need that kind of flimflams. Some forums I visit only have date joined, and number of posts, also perhaps member status. And I think that is more than enough. Discussing number of bars is somewhat dumb if you ask me.

It( 3 bars) is there till now. I feel there is nothing dumb in discussing whether we need them or not. I dont know what you exactly mean by this

Well while I still have license to reply.

I liked the three bars once we got rid of the negative ratings.

We still need a "Leader Board" so we can keep track of who has been sneaking up on us.

I feel that the ranking system is just positive reinforcement you know kinda like a big pat on the back or a hey look at me 🙂 lol, but either way I have had 2 bars for a year now I am not to sad by it, but if I had three I might smile more:)
