Jordan, I guess it's your turn now. Here are some simple repro steps:
- Go into an old IE thread (example).
- Mark one of the old comments as new.
The IE now shows the comment as new (in the main forums page), but it doesn't appear in the Unread Discussions area, so there's no way of getting to it.
