Line spacing increased?

Did the line spacing increase?

It seems to be 1.5 now, 3 for an empty line.

This must be somehow related to Line-spacing-for-lists-to-small, but seems like a bad side effect to be (e.g. list might have improved, but this doesn't feel like an improvement (to me)).
