I have had a strange behavior when trying to use Shift-Ctrl-Z (undo) button, to undo what I had undone..

Let's just say it didn't restore what I had undone...  😠

Hi CC,

Are you looking at that post in Safari?  I don't have Safari, but Firefox and Windows display it correctly.  Just want to confirm before I send it in to Lithium.

JLV - I've always used Ctrl + Z to "undo".   That works in a quick test and Shift + Ctrl + Z doesn't do anything in Firefox.... According to my browser, Ctrl + Y is "redo" and it works as well.

In IE7, Shift + Ctrl + Z (or Y) both work the same as the version without Shift as far as I can tell.   What exactly happened when you tried this?

Thanks,

Laura

Hi Laura,

I am using IE6 (I think).

I highlighted the text to change text color.  The text dissappeared, so I tried to undo..  Which removed more text.  When attempting to undo the undo (Shift-Ctrl-Z) more text dissappeared.  LOL!!   I just retyped what was gone.

The only thing I think that may have happened is if the text had not dissappeared but turned white...  Then undo would have remopved the text...  but that does not explain the "redo" behavior..

So officially... let's just say I have no clue what happened.  😉

Hi Laura

Was on Safari. But you know how studious we are, verefying everything before posting etc... 😉 😄

So, before complaining about the anomaly, I checked the faulty post also on a PC (IE 6, WXP).

As I was reading CC's post I looked up at my post and realized that Austin is also a Capital City 😮

You may not have realized that I too live in a Capital City..  Just wanted to make sure you understood that I was refering to myself being clueless about what had happened with the undo / redo episode..  😉

Hi CC,

So you saw this also on IE6??  Strange, since it was fine in IE7.  I'll report it.

JLV - Don't worry, I didn't connect anything with your capital comment.  In fact, I thought it was a new signature!

Thanks everyone,

Laura

And when are we going to get rid of the Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: subject stuttering?  I am not sure what is causing it, but it is really silly.

Sorry CC, another question -

Does this happen around all attachments?  Just .vi? Just this particular attachment?

Thanks,

Laura
