Naming the Next Rank

We will start a poll on Monday.  I can put up to 10 options in a poll at a time.  Ten is alot to choose from, so if we can narrow it down that would help, but if it has to be 10 that's fine.

I already have an icon for the next level and it would take quite awhile to get a new one made if we decided on a new icon theme.  I think it makes the most sense to use what we have which follows the 3 bar scheme.  I could implement this almost as soon as we decide on a name for the rank!   Then, I can work on new ideas for icons for the levels following this.

just a suggestion 4 the top 3 posters of this forum... maybe we can honour the top poster with a unique rank like "The One" or something like that?? haha.. this should motivate people to compete for this unique rank... cos there is only 1 person in the whole forum who can achieve it... then maybe the second and third top posters can also have a personal rank each?? maybe "The Protector" for the 2nd and "The Defender".... sounds a bit old fashion... but just a suggestion to honour those who really worked hard in contributing to this great forum...

Ok, as I am set to start the poll on Monday, I wanted to present the list I plan on putting in the poll, in case I have missed something or I should take something off of my list.  I couldn't use everyone's suggestions because 10 is the limit for the poll.  Remember that we're going to hold off on the Knights of NI idea for the time being but will strongly consider it for future ranks.  We'll probably do a poll for those as well

btw, i cant copy and past the URL as they use javascript to open a new window... the link is located above the Thread at the Feedback Forum...

or to make it clearer, its located under your name, JoeLabView (Announcements portion) at the Feedback Forum section with the word Current Poll beside it... lol...

I wish I could make the poll more apparent, but I can't - it's a limitation of the forum

I was a little surprised because it took me awhile to find it after I posted it as well!

Hmmmm... the poll's current "best choice" is currently "P Inspirational V"



But in fact there are 3 best choices when you open the result window... Apparently the poll code doesn't like ties

Hi TiTou,

I think I'll add that to my list of things I wish could be changed about the poll functionality.

Currently, I have the poll set to expire on December 1st.  If we still have close results near this time, I'll setup a runoff poll with the top few choices.
