Hi Pnt,
i think it´s not a bug, it´s because we have no icon. 🙂

tst - what page are you referring to? On the board view pages I changed the default so the tag clouds and leaderboards are at the bottom of the page instead of the right side. It is still configurable by user.
I was refering to this:
I believe this was the same before as well, but it's much different if it's a single line of text.
There is an option in the profile called "Reduced Kudos UI", but it also has a note which says "This setting does not hide any kudos leaderboards that have been enabled", so this doesn't help. This is quite annoying, since I use that bar to move between pages. Maybe you can simply disable the kudos view for boards (or at least for the boards I read 😉 ).
As a side issue, if you enter your tracker and then click the View All link for the recieved kudos. The resulting pages use the tracker icons, but have some logic in deciding which icons to use which I could not understand. The list often has the icon for a thread with unread posts even if all the posts have been read. The same happens with the icon for a thread I replied to and which has new posts. Also, the icon for a solution appears in yellow, where it could probably be green like in the board view.
P.S. The new editor is still very annoying.

Tst,
No beer for you!
But seriously, I have to agree that the leaderboard above the navigation buttons is a bit annoying. I also find the new editor a bit too much. Can we set it back to the old, faster simpler one?
Shane.

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I will do my best to address it or defer it to Lithium:
I have updated the Forum Help to include these new features. Do you think there is specific information that I should add, especially about accepted solutions? Perhaps a "best practices"? I don't really know how many people read the help, but it could be a good place to link to for people that aren't marking solutions correctly. I've seen a handful of people mark their own reply as a solution when it was obviously not the solution.
Regards,
Laura

I just want one that doesn't add extra spaces at the end of lines for no reason and then when I hit backspace it decides it's going to erase 2 characters instead of 1. It makes enterering text with the new editor quite frustrating.

the only current options for Leaderboard location are at the bottom or the right side of the page. I will submit a suggestion about moving the navigation bar up (or being able to disable Leaderboards).
OK, so I changed the location back to the right side and it's actually better now, because it offsets another annoying behavior which was added in one of the recent updates which causes the minimum width of the pages to be ~1000 pixels. Now that I placed it on the right, I see the posts properly and I don't have a problem with the navigation bar.
As for the editor, I think you should seriously consider rolling it back if possible, as it doesn't really have any advantages other than not losing attachments when previewing and it is quite annoying whenever trying to include a link or an image.
It's also annoying that we need to click to add attachments. Why not just show the fields in the first place and ignore the empty ones? I wouldn't be surprised if there are new users which miss that small text and don't know how to add attachments.

I reproduced and reported the extra space issue back when it was first brought to my attention. I am going to check in on this issue.
Lithium assures me that they will continue to work on the editor. I am going to get a better feel for their plans for it later this week.
Thanks,
Laura

Is it normal that a double quote followed by a right parenthesis gets turned into a smiley?
one space " ) .... no space ")
I think that this letter combination is too common in normal text and should not be converted. I think this is relatively new behavior.
Even weirder, it still shows the double quote also as text (see above).

The problem seems to be that the double quote gets converted to " and the trailing ; of this, combined with the parethesis, creates the smiley for no good reason.
