On my phone I clicked on a Kudo notification and it took me to the kudoed post. I haven't been on a PC yet. Is this new or does mobile behave differently?

I can click through a kudos or accepted solutions notification on desktop and I'm taken to the post.

Yes you can! Go to mobile browser menu and "request desktop site". No you get the full editor!
