You can change it by selecting options in the upper right of your message to unmark yours.

I unmark the 'problem' as solved.

The advanced search only allow to show  threads with no answers, that's not what I'm looking for.

A workaround is in advanced search to exclude (field: WITHOUT the words)  the word 'Re: '

However I still think this is  a good point for the preferences and/or the advanced options

Hello Henrik,

I agree that it would be a good option.  I have sent this feedback along to our forum vendor a number of times so hopefully they will update the search functionality at some point.
