Recent Slowdown

Bumped because I'm getting timeouts again.  So far I've viewed three threads and replied to two, and I've timed out three times.

It's not just you. I'm getting those also again.

This time, though, the problem may be more regional, as I'm getting frequent timeouts with Google as well, but not with other sites.

Hi Laura,

Did something happen recently with the forum?  The speed seems to "oscillate", meaning it slows down to turtle speed and increases to slow speed.  Turtle speed takes over 1 minute to refresh a page and slow speed takes approx 15 sec.  Normal speed is approx 1 sec.

Do others notice the same thing?  It was especially slow yesterday.

Dear JLV,

I also experienced the same problem yesterday.  Even some 'unauthorized' kind of error messages also came.  I took some screenshots but accidentally deleted those.  Very slow down in behavior.

Today its quite normal.

Hi RayR,

Over the weekend there was some website maintenance, so performance may have been affected.  As of Monday everything should have been back to normal.  I will continue to keep an eye on it and notify our forum vendor as necessary.

I had an unusal slow access to the forums on Monday morning CET. The catalog and support are working normal at that time.

It was so slow that I could not even see the pages... they would take at least 3 minutes to refresh...  😞
