Search Results

Hi,
Just wanted to add my 2 cents worth...I find it annoying when searching the forums for a specific question that the results include ALL responses for one thread...therefore I end up looking at the same thread over and over. Is there an advanced search feature I'm missing? You can't always look at the dates because they can be different.

You're not missing anything. There is no option to change this.

You are not missing anything, but the search engine sometimes does (see this thread). And according to Murphy's law the missing contributions are often the most important ones. It seems that NI has difficulties with their forum vendor who believes these are only minor flaws.
May be we could help by complaining more loudly. This would also help the E-List resurrection...

I just wanted to let you know that we are documenting all of your feedback and passing it on to Lithium.  I know that the messages vs. threads search is annoying to everyone, including me.  We will continue to push this issue with the vendor.
