Short login timeout

Am I the only one that is continually logged out?

After the community was merged with Optimal's one, I find myself logging in tens of times each day, instead of 2-3 times only.

In one case, I read a post, then commenced to write an answer but I was logged out while answering!

You are not the only one.  It seems like the auto logout got reduced to something like 15-30 minutes.  Quite annoying for me as well.

I haven't been logged out of the forum on any of my computers yet, even after overnight.

If it weren't for crossrulz's answer, I would guess that the timeout is proportional to the rank... 😁

This "automatic log-off" also happens to me, on any of my computers.

I guess the log-off time is now set to ~30 mins, but until now I thought it is somehow related to more strict cookie handling in browser with their recent updates…

I'm using Firefox.  I rarely have to log back in again.  If I do, it seems to be associated with whether I have changed networks like going on or off VPN.

Hi,

today the "login timeout" seems to be fixed for me. Still no need to login again after getting back to the computer more than 2 hours later…

On the other hand I sometimes just see a gray window when refreshing the LabVIEW forum website: Firefox updates the visible content only after I scroll the website up/down…

Problem solved... but unfortunately I don't receive e-mail notifications any more like other reported.
