Let me quote myself to clear up that remaining point Christian.


I used to use it to find unanswered Q's but I have changed modes and now focus on helping with the Q's that aren't getting anywhere. So now I just watch the reply count.

New contributors may use it as i described above.

Often, a single reply isn't enough to answer a question.  But a few generally are.   

Maybe it would be a good idea if the person who asked the question could indicate whether he considers his question answered?  That way, the 'anwsered' flag would have some meaning.

Considering that there's a call for changing the rating, maybe this could be coupled to it?  Make the rating an 'did this answer the question?' bar...    (Or add such a bar next to the rating)

BTW,  I use the filter ocasionally -- once every couple of weeks, I wouldn't miss it if it were unavailable for a short time.
