Suggestion: Show more posts when posting reply

On the bottom of the post reply screen it would be very useful if we could view more posts than just the one particular post that we hit the reply button on. I often find myself opening up the thread in another tab so I can see other posts I'm trying to reference.

I actually open the thread in a new window quite often. Having another window is useful when I want to look up a data sheet or check Wikipedia about some fact while I am replying.

If something like this is implemented, please make it optional or something the user can adjust.  On small screens allocating too much space to additional posts would require reducing the window for the reply.  Of course you could reduce some of these parts (see image below) as they are essentially useless in Reply mode.

I'm imagining that the other posts section remains the same size and you can scroll through the other posts.  That's how all the other forums I frequent operatore.
