List issue n° 30

Things are changing.

Remember the good all times when Dennis, Ben and Greg were the leaders of this small world ? The standard activity was to give one or two replies a day, and you were sure to be among the bests...
Now, to reach the top, you need to run at least at 4-5 replies per day. A few new comers are even defining a new standard of average activity. Novatron, yulzhu, Aquafire, all june subscribers, have an average rising rate of 3.4 to 3.8 r/day. Of course, this is still far from the top leader, but they already leave Dennis, tst and Altenbach in the dust...

Of course, I'm not fair... Don't rush firing sarcastic replies !

All those who follow the List evolution know prefectly well that our king leaders have been climbing at an average rate of 7 replies a day, over the past 4 months ! While they were walking at less than one third of this rate six month ago.
Yet this rises some questions about what's going on here. Of course the forum activity as been increasing... but not in such proportions. May be some day our top five contributors will give their own interpretation of this acceleration ?

The best runners of the week are tst, Dennis Knutson and mikeporter. altenbach and Ben are not far behind. As usual...

Welcome to 7 new members : Travis M., sole, hannahW, R Sims (AE), dirtyb15, TimoS and SandmanUK.

The List holds now 516 names ! (510 + 7 = 516. Only the most watchful will locate the mistake (Enrique ?).

My cristal ball had forecasted a major event to take place before the end of July. As Altenbach said, it apparently needs some tuning. Sadly, I'll not be here in the next few days and I'll miss the party... Keep an eye on user n° 9539 !

Since I need some rest, after running the List for so many weeks, you may stay in the dark for the next weekends, except if...

Since when do frogs take vacations??

😉

I will be eating everyone's dust..  Our internet activities are very closely monitred at work.  Everything is prohibited...  Even a sneeze!

I will visit the forum during evenings & weekends..  Just enough to smell the dust as it settles in front of me 😞  -- sigh --

I will venture a guess - I only really started posting about 7 months ago, even though this account was opened a year earlier (so my overall r\d mark should actually be around 8Smiley Mad [how's that for leaving in the dust?Smiley Very Happy]). I guess that when Alten and Dennis saw the threat coming from our combined forces they panicked (is that the right word?) and started running.Smiley Happy

It probably also has a little to do with the increase in questions and with the LIST.

Special Issue : n° 30s

I could not leave before reporting a special event I was forecasting in the 25th issue.

He is a few days late. But I'm sure nobody will care about this obvious lack of punctuality !

So Ben made the big 30e2. You'd think by this point he'd give up the teddy bear Smiley Tongue

Congrates Ben, yet another person that can take a break and give the rest of us a chance.
