The LIST 2

Don't put too much sweat into it. The row highlighting thing should probably be enough.

As for the other thing, LVWUtil32 includes a Move Window to Top VI.

You can use SetForegroundWindow and AllowSetForegroundWindow .

List issue n° 33

This week was tst golden week. Impressive.

A related and significant event is that tst average climbing rate is now better than Dennis's. Since there was something unfair in the way the calculations were made, his score will even improve next week, when the first and last contribution dates will be used to calculate the average rate. Let me enjoy my last days as undisputed activity leader 🙂

One more time, the week best runners have been tst, Dennis and Altenbach. Since this does not change significantly from week to week, let's have a look to who is behind.

Apart Mike porter and tbob who already belong to the List leaders, yukee, Novatron, Allan C and Tom W are all new comers, registered for less than a year. Let's see if they manage to keep their high reply rate until they appear in the top 10 of the quarterly activity column.

Welcome to our new members ramiral (-0.25), shuhei (0.02), fieldbus (0.21) and Ryan V (0.58).

The List holds now 532 names.

Sorry for the size of the ListVIEW llb. I made a confusion when posting. This is my dev version. There are a number of additionnal but unfinished things inside, that take a lot of space. I have no time now to send a more compact file.

CC, can you remove the requirement for having Excel? I think we would all be grateful to have a pure G solution. Besides, we should all strive for cross-platform compatibility. Sending a positive G only message to the community is essential.

Michael, this is something planned for the next issue. ListVIEW was exactly intended for that ! But as you probably know, things take some time 😉

BTW, since you are a web wizard, do you know a solution to open an URL, including login and password (using LV of course) ?

CC,

Try using the "Open URL in Browser.vi" (It think that's the name) with a URL of http://username":"password@www.whatever.com
Remove the quotes around the colon. Had to do that to prevent an automatic smiley and a bad word.

Not tested, but worth a try.

Using the Abort button to stop your VI is like using a tree to stop your car. It works, but there may be consequences.

I tested your idea, and it didn't work. Anything else in store ? 🙂
