The forum on a G1: cannot reply to posts.

I've had my G1 for a couple of weeks now and love it. The forum looks great on it and almost everything seems to work with one notable exception:

I cannot reply to posts! If I select the reply field and start typing, it thinks I am actually trying to enter an URL into the address field instead.

I wonder if there is a fundamental problem or could it be that a small tweak in the lithium code could fix all that? Or maybe android needs to fix some bugs. 😉

Has anyone else played with this?

I was waiting for someone else to bring that up but I had a similar experience with my wife's i-phone. I could do everything except reply to a Q.

There was no way to bring up a text entry field.

I asked Lithium about this and this is not currently supported functionality on our forums.  There is a possibility for it to be offered sometime in the future, so it this is a feature you think that you would definitely start to use if we offered it, please let me know and I will keep track of the requests.

That "Beeries and Bells" concert I HAD* to go to last Friday night would have been a lot more fun.

I'd like to add Opera Mobile to the browser support request list please Laura. It's the best browser I have on my Windows Mobile powered phone, but the Reply buttons don't work (everything else seems to work though).
