Top Kudoed Posts Arithmetic

Hi,

it's not obvious to me how the number of kudos displayed in the upper right Top Kudoed Posts is calculated. I am attaching a screen shot of the Top Kudoed Posts and of the message list, both screen shots taken a few days after kudos had been given.

As a side comment, in the lower image you can see a minor contribution to the long lasting discussion of Web browser formatting issues (using IE8 on Win XP) - I could provide mores serious distortions, too...

I believe top kudoed post is for a single post, where as the one on the main forum page is a sum of all the kudos for every post within that thread.
