Unable to close otional upper boxes on forum pages

I do not know how to call them, but the boxes you can show clicking on the upper ribbon on forum pages can no more be closed in any way.

Lets see an example of what I'm saying:

Here I have clicked on Academic, Community, Support&Services and Products buttons: each of them displayed its onwn details panel which cannot be hided anyway until I reload the page or click some link inside the panels.

Previously clicking out of the detail panels hided them.

Seen on Chrome 35.0.1916.153 m on Win7 PRo X64
