Unexpected Errors

They seem to occur more often lately..

I get them when trying to post a reply.. Sometimes, I get the message and retry or refresh and resubmit and it works... The text does not dissappear.

Other times, I have to re-type everything.

Today, it posted the partial message...  - strange -

Hi Ray,

One way I almost always get the Unexpected Error message is if I am replying to two messages at the same time.  I have given instructions to Lithium so that they can reproduce the behavior, so they are looking into it.

I guess I should add that I don't actually do this on the forums, but only when I am using our test servers and I try to go as fast as possible.

I can only reply to one question at a time.. 😉

But I may have had more than one thread opened.

In my case, it is the dreaded Right-Eye-Causing-Confusion..   (Long story). 

Basically, I often hit the wrong keys on the keyboard.  So once again, I must have hit the right combination to get the error. 

(I realize thay I need to learn how to type properly...  😉  )

I do get the unexpected error relatively often, which is annoying..

However, the more annoying issue is when you get the window ready to type the response, and proceed, only to see a blank page because the page refreshes itself.  This one has been discussed before in another thread..  😞

I can confirm this behavior. I was replying to a thread and indicated I would post a note on the Kudos thread, so I jumped over to the Kudos thread to get the URL for it so I could put a link to it in the reply I was making. Since I was looking at the Kudos thread I figured since I'm there, might as well post the message I said I was going to post. I was successful in posting the message in the Kudos thread, but when I went back to finish my other message I got the Unexpected Error when I clicked "Submit". Had to back out to the message listing and go back in to resubmit my reply.

I often do what you described..  That might explain some of the error messages I've seen.  I'll pay more attention to this behavior in the future..

One thing i noticed was when you click reply message in two or more threads and in one thread you replied for that post and then going to the second thread and replied and click submit button, then you will get this "Unexpected error". I checked this behavior for more than 5 times.
