What is Quick Reply?

In "My Settings" Preferences >> Display there is a checkbox at the bottom labeled "Turn on Quick Reply" default unchecked.

What does this do?

Doesn't Khoros have documentation on that preference?

Ok I turned it on and got a new button next to the reply button labeled Quick Reply

Allows me to enter just text. No formatting bar, no attachments, no quotes just text only.  I'd share a screenshot but, since this is a quick reply I woul have to go back and edit this post to add images attachments or links 

Of course,  I don't know how to get a screen capture from this dumb phone
