Who gave the kudos - hovering effect?

No posts in this board for 2 weeks time. Let me break this silence with this.........

Now to see who gave kudos to the post, will display the names in a new screen. Rather, an option like when you move your mouse pointer in the kudos symbol, it should just display a floating menu like below.

Obviously, just show the names only since the rank of the person if included will occupy major portion of the screen.

Any comments.

I thought this was a good idea quite a while back, but like you I was put off by considering what happens with a potentially very large list.

How about an approach similar to hovering over a Windows zip file? Here just a few items get listed fully, while more than about 10 get truncated. See attachment.

I tried to suggest that kind only. If only just names(and not rankings) are showed up when the mouse was just moved over the kudos, then its possible to even display more than 200 names list in the popup menu and after a mouse move from the kudos place, the menu should disappear.
