Woah! Forum Upgrade!

Looks like the Ideas exchange received an upgrade too. At least some of the more serious issues have been addressed. Great! 😄

Other improvements I noticed:

• Inserting a link now works better in chrome (before, we had to scroll to see the "insert" button for some reason).
• We need to insert at least two characters before a post can be submitted.
• Tool to insert a spoiler tag.

When that dialog opens the focus is the Link Text (what will be the element content) rather than the Link URL. That is a little annoying when I have highlighted text in the editor. Oh well.

Looks very different. I actually searched for the kudo button for a couple of seconds. Need to probe further.

The hyperlink and smiley load very slowly now. To get the smiley in the right place i almost laways drag the smiley to the place where i want to place it. This is not possible now as when the pop up window opens the background message is disabled.

In my opinion dimming or hiding the "0 kudos" message could make the kudoed messages more evident. I expect that a discussion has only some kudoed messages: with present aspect of the forum it seems that all of them are rewarded!

The marked solution is definetly not prominent now replacing an entirely green solution with a green tick of the subject. Will it not be difficult for newbies?

The post button's position is now changed to right side. Now I always scroll to attachment section before finding the post button. Hopefully will get used to with some posts.

1. The total messages posted are now added to the post count in the profile - good great

2. Why change certain things when they were just fine and people were used to it.

a) Post submit button

b) The number of people kudoed you - The scroll next page has been shifted to top from the bottom.

3) After using the forum the whole day I strongly feel the formal look is gone. It looks colorful I accept but very distracting atleast for me.

Hmmm, the personal image libraries seem to be broken.  Is this related to the upgrade?
