Please update the Idea Exchange Idea Statuses
For Example
The Status is "New" it should be "Completed"....with a tag of "exactly as originally suggested with not even one comment!"
Are there others?

Maybe, but that one had one comment referencing another ie submission that should be marked completed
at least my BDs look nicer in 2012!

A lot of ideas (all?) that are still marked as "in beta" are implemented in 2012.

So while we are on the subject...
The SDE idea status should be changed from New to "In Progress" (or whatever is the right term).

Are you saying it is actually in progress or that it should be in progress?

If it is not in progress what are they waiting for?
Quoting from LV 8-Ball
"Jeff K says YES!"
You read me right. I am not averse to tricking people into doing something right.

I decided that everything in beta deserved kudos, so I kudoed everything I had not already kudoed.
You cannot kudo items that have been completed...

Hi Phillip (and others),
please help me understand: I thought that kudoing ideas in the Idea Exchange should assist NI in adjusting their priorities: If 10 out of 100 suggestions can be implemented in a given time / release the number of kudos should show them our user priorities. What is the purpose of kudoing all ideas that are going to be implemented anyway? Sort of thank you?

I was being facetious.
They were already implemented in LV2012, NI just hasn't gotten around to changing the status from Beta to Complete. I suspect they will update the current Beta items to Completed at the same time they change the New items they select for the next Beta.
They were good enough to implement, so I figured I might as well kudo while I could and be a smarty-pants at the same time. I like your idea of them being a sort of "thank you" much better, so I will go with that.

That makes somewhat sense.
Less reasonable is the fact that you can no longer give kudos to "declined ideas". (This one would definitely be in the four digit numbers by now. :D)
I think that declined ideas should be able to continue to accumulate kudos, simply to gauge the interest in the topic.
Once it reaches 10k, the decisions could get re-evaluated. 😮

To months later, we still have all completed ideas listed as in beta.
