2 Network Cards

I need to be able to have 2 network cards in my host pc running my GUI.. One card is dedicated to the Embedded application on a fp-2000 . The other needs to connect the PC to the rest of the company. I was told this way would be the best method to ensure privacy on the RT app. While allowing the GUI to interface with external DataBases etc. I need to know if there are any ssues here as I will be communicating between the GUI and RT via TCP/IP...
