Alignment of Fieldpoint-Modules

Hi guys

We sometimes use fieldpoint-modules for digital and analog I/O. Usually we align them horizontally.

Recently, the colleague responsible for the electrical cabinet asked me, if it was possible, to align the modules vertically, so that the cooling slots are on the left side.

Has anyone of you made any experiences with "unusual" alignments before? Is it possible to align the modules vertically?

I have seen numerous installations that use vertically mounted FieldPoint systems without difficulty. You should not have a problem with the installation.

Assuming that you are using DIN rail, make sure to use DIN rail locks to prevent the system from sliding.
