CPU Usage for FieldPointOPC2.exe exceeds 90%

We have a Visual Basic program that uses the FieldPointOPC2.exe server to connect to Compact FieldPoint modules. We have noticed that over time, the CPU utilization of the FieldPointOPC.exe process exceeds 90% and the host computer slows to a crawl.

We have used eariler versions of this software with previous versions of the FieldPoint OPC server and the orginal FieldPoint modules and have not had these types of problems in the past.

We are currently using FieldPointOPC2.exe 4.1.0.15

Currently there are no known issues with FieldPoint OPC server 4.1.

How long does it take for the FieldPoint OPC server to reach 90% CPU utilization? What is your VB program subscribing and publishing to the OPC server? Is your VB program using DataSocket or some other OPC software? Is your application constantly running while the OPC server reaches 90% or does the OPC server reach 90% utilization by itself. What operating system and specs does your computer have?

I need a lot of information so I can narrow the use case down and reproduce it in order to come to a resolution.
