Can I change the open thermocouple default with field point explorer

My application uses both FP-120-TC and a FP-TB-10 to aquire temperature readings w/J thermocouples. The FP-120-TC open TC value is 1770°C while the FP-TB-10 open TC value is -210°C. Can I use the FieldPoint explorer to have both modules defualt to the same temp?

You can not change how the modules behave through FieldPoint Explorer. Due to the differences in circuitry in the FP-TC-120 and FP-TC-J/K modules, they report the Open Thermocouple error with different values (max scale and min scale respectively). However, both types of modules will report an Open Thermocouple warning (33489) through your interface program (e.g. LabVIEW). Tracking the error code will allow you to qualify the data and change it yourself in your code if you need to.
