Can I use FP-TB-3 together with all 8 channels of FP-AI-100

Hi,

I am thinking getting a FP-AI-100 for voltage measurement on all 8 channels. So I need a Vin and COM terminal for every channel. That is 16 terminals I need on the base. I am also thinking getting FP-TB-3 for base, since it gives me the flexibility of using it on thermo-couple modules later on. Problem is, FP-TB-3 only has 16 terminals, number 1~16. And FP-AI-100 COM terminals are assigned to terminal number 18 and greater. So my question is, is there a way to use FP-TB-1 with FP-AI-100 with all 8  channels operational

Hi JohnH2009,

The FP-TB-3 was designed specifcally to work with thermocouple I/O modules such as the FP-TC-120. The FP-AI-100 can perform both voltage and current measurements and each channel has separate inputs for each of these. Therefore, you will need more than 16 inputs to use all of the functions available on the FP-AI-100. Also, because there is no way to physically reroute the COM wires to use any pins other than they ones they are assigned to by default, it would be impossible to access the COM wires using a FP-TB-3. I apologize for the inconvenience.
