I try to update firmware of a FP-1001 module but it show a error message: "bad sector" and now FPExplorer dont detect the module anymore, What can i do to correct this? Im using FPExplorer 2.03 and the firmware version 0030, the module had the firmware 0020 before this. The modulo part number is 184510D-01
The module firmware has been corrupted. This is not easily fixed in the field. Please contact National Instruments Support (www.ni.com/Ask or (512)795-8248) to arrange to return the module for repair.
1. What is the correct procedure to update fieldpoint FP-1001 firmware? 2. Must I disconnect the module from the RS485 netwok? 3. Must I disable all Watchdog timers before update it? 4. Must I disconnect all i/o mudules before update it? 5. Are all FP-1001 series compatible with all firmware updates? (0028,0030)
