I have not had problems of this sort since upgrading to LV 2011 (I currently run SP1f1), but LV 2011 does sometimes just crash immediately. In general I must admit that LV 2011 keeps on impressing me and I have not seen a LabVIEW version this stable since LV 7.1.
Having said that, its somewhat sad to see that NI is leaving the cFP platform in the dust. With 3 built in RS232 ports and one RS485, it actually outperforms CRIO in may industrial aspects.
In general I have found that cFP 22' series run much better if the first thing you do, is to uninstall all local sw on the target and then upgrade it to cFP 6.0.9. Dont just leave the original sw and upgrade ontop of this.

p.s. I do some Siemens "programming", and guys ! Siemens PLC's/programming does not even come close to the performance of LabVIEW/cFP. I am sorry, but anyone comparing true programming with advanced configuration dont know what the LabVIEW guys are talking about. But surely, Siemens has the upper hand when it comes the cost of things. And perhaps the "C" guys will say the same of LabVIEW.
