Hi all,
I have encountered some problem when I tried to link the computer to the fieldpoint system. It's a Win7 system and I have 5.1.0f0 version of MAX. I connect the computer and the fieldpoint to the same hub which is linked to the internet. On the Remote System option the fieldpoint is found but the only things I can do is changing its Hostname. I can access the Network Setting panel but it thrown out "There was a problem saving the settings to the target", though I am sure my hardware is powered on. And I think it just occurred today that the status LED keeps blinking in red. Anyone can tell me how to fix it? Thank you very much.

Where is your gateway IP address? It should be 192.168.1.1

I can't save the IP settings as it keeps saying connection error. But the device does show up on the left side.

In the screenshots you've provided, it looks as though the target is accessible when you are in the system settings tab (gray FieldPoint icon), but that the connection to the target is lost when you move to the network settings tab (red X). Is this always the case? You may want to refer to the Measurement & Automation Explorer Help for FieldPoint (While in MAX, go to Help >> Help Topics >> FieldPoint) and the MAX Remote System Help (same location in the Help menu) for more detailed advice on how to configure the settings for your cFP 1808.
