Counter solution

Hi,

I'm planning on buying a FP-CTR-500 for performing speed measurements. I'm
using a proximity switch which will generate one puls every time my machine
has made one turn. With my E-series MIO with a DAQ-STC counter chip I simply
used the buffered period measurement to get my data. How do I implement
something like this on the FP-CTR-500 module.

How many sensors can I attach to this module?

Ronald,
With a FP-CTR-500 you have eight counters. So you can attach eight sensors. With the FP-CTR-500 you can have the sensor trigger the counter and read the counter but, it does not do buffering.
