DSC or FieldPoint VIs?

I have a 360 channel FieldPoint application. Any recommendations on whether to use the DSC module versus the FieldPoint VIs? Why?

Brian,

The answer to this question depends on which factors are most important to you (speed, ease of development, datalogging, etc.), what type of network modules (serial or ethernet) you are using, and how you plan to use the data.

Just by opening the examples that install with FieldPoint Explorer, you can see how easy it can be to program with those VIs. The speed of the two methods should be comparable since they both use Logos. After you have had a chance to compare the two, I would recommend using the method in which you feel
most comfortable programming.

Thanks for the answer Mike. Since posting the question I have made a decision to use the LabVIEW VIs. This is primarily because I need to dynamically change the acquisition rate which is not possible with the serial network module and OPC FieldPoint with DSC.
