Does changing cFP modules cause issues

I have a cFP 2110 with a 4 slot backplane.  Currently I have two relay modules, a thermocouple and a analog module.  I want to swap out the unused analog cFP AI110 for another relay module.  How will swapping out the module effect my existing projects and VI's?  I don't have any VI using the analog module so that's easy. Will swapping out the modules cause my existing projects and VI's to stop working or is it just an easy project update and the VI will run as expected? Do I just need to go into Measurement &Automation explorer change the configuration?

There shouldn't be any problem.  Since it is unused (I'm assuming that is in all your projects it isn't used), you shouldn't have any code calling on a channel on that module in that slot.  Just swap it out and update MAX.
