FP 1000 - FP 1001

Hi,

In the lab, we have one PC connect by RS232 to an FP 1000 bank

this bank is connect with an RS485 to two an another FP 1001 bank

my question is,

can i connect an another FP 1000 bank by the RS485 port to the FP 1001 bank

(the configuration would be the PC - RS 232 - FP1000 - RS485 - FP1001 - RS485 - FP1001 - RS485 - FP1000)

Yes, you can. RS485 support 32 devices, you only have diferent direction.

are you sure ?

I have try the configuration the three frist module are see by max.

The first FP 1000 connected to the PC by RS 232, the two second FP1001 link to the first by RS485

The fourth (FP 1000) link by RS485 to the third is not see by max (no "network activity").

I try different configuration RX- RX+ TX- TX+ -> no change
